I think I’m doing OK taking Valentine’s Day decorations down 4 days after the fact. I’ve been cleaning out the garage this past week so organization and purging items is something I’ve been thinking a lot about. Not decorations though. Those are a must keep. I’m organizing so I can make more. 🙂 When my husband and I first met he didn’t quite understand why I needed to decorate for EVERY holiday. Now, he’s the one asking to decorate for Halloween in September. This is what my dining room table looks like right now. Hopefully, he will be at work a little longer so I can get this cleaned up before he walks through the door.

Now it’s time to dig out St. Patty’s goodies. I was scanning Pintrest this morning for new decoration ideas and saw this picture. I laughed out loud because even though I have no issue with dragging in old logs from outside…I’m pretty sure my husband would have a coronary. 🙂 Being practical I’m sure he would be convinced I brought in termites or ants or whatever other bug he can think of off the top of his head. That’s why I love him.

Hopefully I will be able to create more St. Patrick’s Day decorations in the next few weeks. I’ll make sure to post them if I do. Now…back to Pintrest, and to put the decorations away…I almost forgot. Yikes.
