Cheesecake Confetti Crescent

I had every intention of making a cheesecake today. I didn’t have the energy… and I’m tired of the ones from the store (how is that even possible). I wanted to make something with the boys but knew there was no way I was leaving to go get ingredients, so I needed to make something using what I already had. Time to dig around.

Starting out I mixed cream cheese, sugar and vanilla together. Then folded in random sprinkles. I know Valentine’s is around the corner. But honestly you could clear out all of those random sprinkle colors you have left over from the holidays.

I used a can of crescent rolls (8 count) and placed a spoonful of cheesecake filling in the middle.

One of my helpers.

Before they went into the oven I have to be honest, they didn’t look that great. I should have taken more time rolling them up but I got the job done.

While those were cooking, I made a simple glaze to drizzle on top. Powdered sugar, milk and vanilla.

My vanilla made it a little brown so I added red sprinkles to pink-en it up.

Out of the oven and cooling.

A little drizzle and a sprinkle of confetti, we have a super easy way to have our cheesecake for the day. 🙂

  1. Think I will try. …Maybe to ‘adult’ it a little….No pink, no sprinkles. Maybe a scant mini chocolate chips in the cream cheese, and drizzle with chocolate.
