As I think about the products I bring into my house for my family and kids I remind myself to pause and consider where it was made and the safety guidelines it had to follow.

A few of my favorite US made products are here below. What are some of your favorites?

Wikki Stix – I learned about these as I was teaching handwriting ages ago. They are wax coated yarn strings that bend and flex pretty much any way. They don’t melt and will stick to any flat service. My son loves using these in the car, and I love having them because they travel well.

Tervis – These have a lifetime guarantee… and I have used it. I am hard on my travel cups and these never fail, plus they can be customized. My first Christmas with my oldest son, my husband gave me a personalized tumbler with one of my favorite pictures. I still use it to this day. I absolutely love it.

Green Toys – I am amazed because with a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old, they have still never broken one of these toys. That says a lot. They are 100% recycled material and are STURDY!!!

ECOS by Earth Friendly Products – With over 200 different green and household products, I love everything they have. From baby to pets…they take care of your entire family. They are celebrating 50 years this year so you know they are doing something right!

Demeter – Want a soap that reminds you of some of your favorite childhood memories? They will have it. They have over 300 different scents that you won’t find anywhere else. My boys love taking a bath with soap that smells like dirt. 🙂 I don’t mind because it’s still soap. I love the vanilla ice cream scent for myself.

Spibelt – Some of my runner friends love using these…but I don’t run. 😉 That doesn’t mean I don’t love them though. Between going to the playground, a bike ride or Disney…these hold everything I need and keep me hands free. I don’t have to worry about caring a bag, or looking for a safe place to put my bag down. It fits close to my body and doesn’t bounce.
