Both of my sons are obsessed with Minecraft. I’m not really sure how it started with the oldest, my youngest of course loves what his older brother loves. With that in mind, I wanted to find a few things they would enjoy for Christmas without it actually being more video games.
I love practical items they can use. Either at home, school or anywhere in between. Book bags, lunch boxes and re-useable cups are something they will get use out of and something they are already using. By this time during the school year our supplies from August are looking pretty rough. Time to update with what they are into.
We’ve also been taking the boys to swim lessons every week. The great thing about bathing suits is that it gets to show off their personality. You can never have to many swim suits right??? We grabbed a few varieties that they can wear and strike up conversations with some of the other kids they haven’t met before. It’s an instant ice breaker.
If you’ve been around, you know how much we love board games in this house. I love that the boys are able to play one of their favorite games but AWAY from a screen… which they spend way too much time already. Some of the best ones I’ve found are from Ravensburger and Think Fun.
