This year, there are 5 haunted house to choose from, stage shows throughout the night and the roller coasters still running.

If you are a roller coaster fan, this is the time for you to go. I didn’t see any wait time for rides over 15 minutes and I even thing that was an over estimate.

There are parts of the park that are closed off, so don’t think that you will be able to experience SeaWorld along with Haunted Houses. This is a special after hours event… that is specifically there for Halloween.

Keep your eyes open for fun opportunities to scare people in your party. Although I would love to do this to others, there is a good chance I wouldn’t be a fan if it happened to me.

On the flip side, there are also Scaredy Cat Lanyards that can be purchased separately for $15. With these on, scarers will avoid jumping out at you as you walk around the park – keep in mind this does not apply to the actual haunted houses.

Even though I knew and EXPECTED to be scared, the other variables got me too. As the night went on, there was more fog… and I couldn’t see (but in a good way). Even though nothing jumped out and scared me then, I completely scared myself waiting.

I don’t know if these monsters receive a special training so they know exactly who to scare, but they for sure saw me coming… and I couldn’t hide the fear. By the end of the night my throat and face hurt from screaming and laughing. Usually both at the same time.

Although I don’t like being sacred, I had a great time… and will probably take my oldest son next year. He will be 11 by then, and feel like he’s ready for some of the screams and scares.
