I have seen my fair share of children’s books. Working in an elementary school for almost 10 years, you can imagine how many books I have gone through and recommended for little ones.

When Literati wanted to send a kit for me to try out with my 7 year old of course I said yes. I mean… I do have a love affair with all books. Especially #kidlit. But I wasn’t quite sure what to expect.

Bedtime Books – Make the Most of Them

As we have started to redo the boy’s room and combine them there have been a few growing pains. Mainly that we sold the big bed before we bought new beds for the boys. No need to worry, it’s time to camp out. Turn lemons into lemonade right?

So once the other bed was taken apart and picked up by the seller up went the tent. In all honesty, it’s only been used once time outside… and a whole bunch of times in the living room.

High Interest Books for High Energy Kids

So I’m pretty sure I’ve expressed my love of books. All books. But for some reason, my oldest son is over it. He actually told me the other day that all of his books were “BORING”. Gaaaaaaassssssspppppp!!!! I stood there in his doorway, speechless.

I took that as a challenge. No one hates books. Especially someone I created… 🙂
