I’ll be completely transparent with you. I start planning for Halloween as soon as 4th of July passes. I know for some that is way too early to start thinking about the end of October, but for me it can’t come soon enough.
I’m totally in love with all things fall. It’s absolutely my favorite time of year. The tricky thing is I live in South Florida. It is still pretty warm considering the year is coming to an end. On good days we drop out of the 90’s. Continue reading “How We Halloween”
If you looked on any social media this summer, the opening of Toy Story Land was EVERYWHERE. I have to admit, I was living in serious FOMO land. You know, the fear of missing out.
Even when I heard there were 6-hour lines just to get into Toy Story Land, I was sure I was missing something amazing. It was on my list to go as soon as I could.
Enter the Pitt vs. UCF game. Billiam was headed to the game and I had a whole day to myself with the boys. What to do??? What to do??? (wink, wink)
Let’s do this! Continue reading “The Best Tip I Can Give You About Toy Story Land”
As we have started to redo the boy’s room and combine them there have been a few growing pains. Mainly that we sold the big bed before we bought new beds for the boys. No need to worry, it’s time to camp out. Turn lemons into lemonade right?
So once the other bed was taken apart and picked up by the seller up went the tent. In all honesty, it’s only been used once time outside… and a whole bunch of times in the living room.
Forgive the bed head, but he was super excited when he found out he was going to “camp out” in his room… at least for a few days. Continue reading “Bedtime Books – Make the Most of Them”
Living in Florida there is no shortage on pirate anything. We actually took a family trip to St. Augustine this year and soaked up anything and everything pirate.
Did you know that September 19th every year is International Talk like a Pirate Day? You know what that means? It means that in my house we go all out pirate! Here are a few easy ways to make today a little more special. Continue reading “International Talk Like a Pirate Day”
I’m not going to lie, when I saw Disney on Ice was coming by us I knew we had to go. It wasn’t even my boys begging to go, it was ME! 🙂 We went a few years ago, before Harbor was even born and it was great, so this was a no brainer. Continue reading “Disney on Ice – Search Party”
Looking for a super simple new recipe to include in your kiddos lunchbox? Then here you go. Seriously ANYONE can make these. It’s almost the same way you would make rice Krispy treats except for completely different ingredients and a completely different flavor. Although, you could make these with peanut butter… almond butter has such a sweeter flavor, that makes them that much more special and delicious. It’s the start of the school year, and what that means for me is nonstop projects. I’ve taken charge of the TAPs program at my school. That stands for Teachers as Parents. It is just like a separate branch of PTO. Continue reading “Key to Our Success – Teacher Appreciation”
We received a special invite to tour and explore the Palm Beach Zoo…

Did you know it’s Shark Week? It’s one of those things that I never really paid attention to until I had little boys scooting around the house. The two groups of people that know the most about sharks, I believe, are marine biologists and 5-year-old boys.
Of course, since it is Shark Week we have been talking a lot about the ocean and its animals. This originally started out as Galaxy Ice Cream since we had been talking about space so much but it easily transitioned into Deep Ocean Ice Cream (the colors were pretty much the same so I went with it).
