Raise your hand if you love St. Patrick’s Day? I don’t think it gets enough love in the kid community. Sure, adults have plenty to celebrate with wearing green and heading downtown, where ever you might live.

I love any reason to get dressed up. I’m trying to give that excitement to Hucklebaby as well. His school invited us to walk in the town’s St. Patrick’s Day parade this past week and I thought it would be a great experience. I think I’m doing OK taking Valentine’s Day decorations down 4 days after the fact. I’ve been cleaning out the garage this past week so organization and purging items is something I’ve been thinking a lot about. Not decorations though. Those are a must keep. I’m organizing so I can make more. 🙂 When my husband and I first met he didn’t quite understand why I needed to decorate for EVERY holiday. Now, he’s the one asking to decorate for Halloween in September. This is what my dining room table looks like right now.
